Cookie Policy

Last updated: 12 March 2026

This policy explains how Rungruang uses cookies and similar technologies on our website.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your browser or device when you visit. They help the site remember information about your visit — such as your language preference or whether you have already seen our cookie notice.

Cookies do not contain personally identifiable information on their own, but they can be combined with other data to recognise you as a returning visitor. Some cookies are set by us directly (first-party cookies); others are set by third-party services we use (third-party cookies).

We use cookies thoughtfully. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or sell data to third parties.

3. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on our website are set by third-party services. We use these services to improve the website and understand usage patterns, but we do not have direct control over how they set or use cookies:

  • Google Analytics — website usage analysis. Google Privacy Policy
  • Google Maps — embedded location map on our homepage
  • Facebook — conversion measurement (if you arrived via a Facebook ad)
  • Microsoft (Bing Ads) — conversion measurement (if applicable)

Each of these services has its own privacy and cookie policy. We encourage you to review them independently if you have concerns.

4. Cookie Duration

Session cookies

These exist only while your browser is open. They are deleted automatically when you close your browser tab or window. We use session cookies for basic navigation and form security.

Persistent cookies

These remain on your device for a set period after you close your browser:

  • cookieConsent (our preference cookie) — stored in localStorage, persists until you clear browser data or change your preferences here
  • Google Analytics _ga — expires after 2 years
  • Google Analytics _gid — expires after 24 hours
  • Google Analytics _gat — expires after 1 minute (rate-limiting only)
  • Facebook Pixel _fbp — expires after 90 days (if marketing cookies accepted)

5. Your Cookie Preferences

You can manage your cookie preferences below. Essential cookies cannot be disabled as they are required for the website to work. Your choices are saved to your browser's local storage.

Your preferences have been saved.
